Done:

Last week (some PTO last week) mainly did feedback reviews of many console patches, some of which have landed.

(The devtools crew have produced a torrent of patches) bug 568649 - JSTerm keybindings bug 568657 - consolidate all time stamp code bug 578437 - The HUD console fails to reattach the window.console object after page reload bug 579975 - logConsoleActivity message filtering bug bug 580126 - Clean up redundancy in logMessage() for the Console

Fixed the console renaming bug after much bikeshedding. The Menu Item is now "Web Console", which can be changed again if further bikeshedding is entered in to.:)

Next:

Finish and get review on bug 579954 - "sometimes gBrowser cannot be accessed"

Also have been working on bug 574127: dead/broken code in HUD_SERVICE.shutdown and bug 580352: Make sure the contentWindow passed to windowInitializer is a browser contentWindow

Coordination:

At some point we need to do some profiling of the Web Console, see: bug 581459: cnn.com causes minefield to hit 100% CPU usage when using the web console is open

  • please ASAP review bug 513086 Make redirect API async! The current patch already got r+sr+ but needs one more little update => I need to get that few lines update reviewed. This is urgent, patches are urgent to land and gets quickly bit-rotted.

  • Mainly worked on Bug 551274 - Update nsAddonRepository for API version 1.5:
    • Adds functionality needed for my current project
    • Adds a bunch of missing tests for AddonRepository.jsm
  • Landed Bug 558287 - Add support for searching add-ons on AMO via the addon manager's search bar
  • Fixed small bugs:
    • Bug 580379 - Move and improve CSS introduced in Bug 558287
    • Bug 578467 - xpinstall.whitelist.add prefs are not emptied when converted into permissions on startup with new profile

Next:

  • Continue work on current project:
    • Begin showing new information from AMO in detailed and list view (temporarily storing information)
    • Begin work on back-end storage of new AMO data
  • Look into my other beta 4 and beta N blockers

  • Pushed a few e10s platform patches through reviews and into tree
  • Started implementing "Contacts in form autocomplete" using ctypes
  • Started enhancing the Fennec nsISessionStore to store more state, support undo and support Sync
  • Made a patch to remove canvas tiles from Fennec and use browsers only!

Next:

  • Finish "Contacts in form autocomplete"
  • Finish nsISessionStore impl
  • File more bugs on e10s issues
  • Get patches on more e10s issues reviewed and landed
  • Start work on the Feed Subscription page in Fennec
  • Remove canvas tiles when Layers support is a little better

Working on bugs/enhancement requests on the topfails website.

Tried [ unsuccessfully ] to create a backPort tracking application for changeset landings. The idea is to ask for a release branch and check if all the relevant landings on the branch are ported appropriately to all the current & active named-branches. Unfortunately, the logic of deciphering what are current active named branches on a given release is not trivial.

Next:

May 21st is my last working day with Mozilla.

Working on winding down and hand-off of the tools/scripts I develop/maintain to A-Team.

Bug 499904 - after exploring adding DBus handling directly into Fennec as part of the phone support component, I'm instead writing a small proxy utility that will intercept Maemo browser requests and use them to launch Fennec. This relies on bug 529576 to land to have proper "open in new tab" behavior
